Charles G. "Charlie" Kopp, Esquire, selected as the first recipient of the
Friend of the Ball award, is being recognized for the consistent and
supportive role he has played in the success of the Speaker's Ball.
As a force behind the Ball's fund-raising efforts, Charlie has contributed
his valuable expertise and considerable network to help us achieve our
annual goals.
Mr. Kopp is Senior Counsel at the Philadelphia-based law firm of Wolf Block
Schorr and Solis-Cohen where he has been affiliated since 1969.
Mr. Kopp is a member of the American, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar
Associations. His board affiliations include the Advisory Board of PNC Philadelphia, the
Board of Trustees of Thomas Jefferson University and the Board of Directors
of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
The Speaker's Ball committee offers its congratulations to Charlie Kopp for
